STREET OF DREAMS

Friday 2.7.03: The Hype Begins in Hotlanta
It's still two days until the best of the best take to the court for the 2003 All-Star game, but the streets of Atlanta are already packed with pumped-up fans. Hotels are jumping with celebrities and athletes as hyped city folk hop into their cabs and limos to get to one destination -- the NBA All-Star Jam Session. You would think this event was sponsored by General Motors with all the H2 Hummers cruising the scene. By the end of the day Friday (and that's 2am ET) the Hummer-meter was up to 14.

Saturday 2.8.03: Rap, Rookies & Legends
That was just a taste of the action at the Street of Dreams on the sold-out Saturday of Jam Session 2003. Budding ballers started lining up outside the chain link fence at 9am for a chance to work up a sweat on the blacktop. While gamers could get in on the first public preview of the upcoming streetball game from EA SPORTS BIG NBA STREET Vol. 2.

Sunday 2.9.03: Fan Raves & Reviews
After two days of counting H2s (final tally = 33) and jammin' to the beat of the unofficial song of the weekend "Welcome to Atlanta" (where, by the way, the playas do play and the parties really don't stop til' eight in the mornin') we spent our last day of All-Star weekend strolling around the Street of Dreams to find out what the fans liked best about the Jam Session and, of course, what they thought about NBA STREET Vol.2.
